- Miserably, Albert Breer is leaving the Dallas Morning Hearsay:
Former MetroWest Daily News novelist and Patriots beat guy, Albert Breer, will be leaving the Dallas Morning Scandal on June 26 to take a national job with The Sporting Dirt on July 7. Breer, 28, will be mobile back to his native Boston (a Lincoln-Sudbury graduate of 1998) and be based here for TSN. “This is what I need to do,” said Breer. “My ambition has been to cover the league, not just one work together, and that’s what I’ll be doing now.” (Breer will crew with TSN’s Clifton Brown and Dennis Dillon on NFL coverage.) He also, *pant*, watched and studied game blear. No wonder he only lasted about a year at the DMN.
The superior compliment that I can give Breer, IMO, is that I laugh at Bob Costas and guys like Stir Bissinger who rail bloggers and sports talk broadcast hosts,...
