Face Looking in D E Wasake
I am hitting set someone back on his bottom and sinking real fast during my make a pilgrimage to the centre of the earth. The centre of the Terra it turns out is cold and not hot like i consideration. It full of crevices and icicles where i thought hot spas and geysers would swarm.
Jersey is the centre of the earth for me at stage and as i foray further into this society a number of peculiarties remain standing out. These are the good, the bad and umm the ugly? of my Jersey spirit
The good: The 154 year sublet incident.
I like my current job. Upright boss, great career concatenation prospects and good money(now to brake control in my spiralling living costs). Was browsing through my patient records(investment property train) and came across one situation where they entered into a hire out/rent agreement for 154 years. This is for a peculiarity in Brighton, London. I am starting to realise that here its truly not unusual to enter into long term rental agreements. Infact the normally leases for commercial property are like 30 years and a few 500 year rental agreement contracts. I sometimes wish we had such a well developed lawful and business structure. The only downside of such contracts is reviewing very old documents is from head to toe a challenge because not only are the events and sometimes language outdsated, its challenging converting units of fitted for say into the metric system, the currency/price has to be inflation adjusted and then i have to transform the language into modern English:
"Knoweth ye all ye safe men(and sons) present that by this deed is establisheth the righteth of Messrs Southern Amusements(the renter) the property stretching by 500 furlongs from Ol George's horse barne and hath a caveat and a trough that emptieth up yonder shall now be called 28 mansfield manor and is hereby leased...."
The bad: Something in the air
Perhaps the people here have on the loose bowels or are just downright crass. Its altogether embrassingly...
