Michael Palin of Monty Python stardom has been producing travel documentaries with the BBC since the mid 80s. They are the finery travel documentaries I've ever seen.
I sent an email to a sort of people about his series of documentaries, and meditating I'd post that email here for you, so when you're looking for something prominent to rent, you'll hopefully rent these documentaries.

I'd like to recommend a series of documentaries to all of you.
Some of you might identify Michael Palin from Monty Python and 'A Fish Called Wanda,' but his sincere dream was to be an explorer.
So to cut to the chase, he hooked up with the BBC to take to one's heels numerous travel documentaries.? His first series, 'Around The World in 80 Days' was based on J. Vernes novelette and to follow the same path the same way...no planes. The places he visited and how he got there was unusual. At times, he risked his life.
The next series, traveling from North to South was also a reproach blower. From the various countries he visited in Africa, what he ate, the traditions, seeing things we never see in the west, to his immutable destination, Antarctica, there's never a dull consideration, and it seemed like I was learning something new every minute or two. In Africa, there are still wonderful, palatial buildings in the middle of nowhere, which is where he traveled, and where many excursion documentaries don't go.
I'm currently watching the Himalaya series. Since this was filmed in 2005, Pakistan, Kashmir and India weren't strictly the safest places to travel.
While I am up on present-day events, I didn't know Kashmir was once a occurrence place where so many dignitaries stayed on houseboats.? It's so good-looking.
He stays out of politics, and is respectful to all the cultures and people he visits, and they in fabricate are respectful of him. Again, none of these docs are political.
