Mythbusters at Olds College!
Olds College was recently privileged to hotelier an event with two of the actors from the popular idiot box series, Mythbusters. Grant Imahara and Tori Belleci joined a sold-out swarm to discuss their work and experiences on the hit show.
The happening, hosted by Olds College and the Alberta Technique Foundation, was held to promote the import and relevance of applied science. It included a debate where students in the local area participated in their own “Bust a Epic” contest. Two teams of winsome contestants were recognized during the event and received signed t-shirts from Tory and Subvention. They advocated the need for post-second-line education and noted that science needs people from many facts of individual (Grant has an engineering degree while Tory has a haze degree).
Grant Imahara and Tory Belluci
Restricted radio host, Jamison Brown, hosted the two in a talk-show fad format where Grant and Tory discussed their experiences and answered questions from the audience. Remarkable stories included testing whether sharks were more attracted to a discipline or floating swimmers and using a weigh down to get an alligator to attack.
Both actors were complicated afterward signing autographs.
