BBC trailer for their extraordinary dramatisation of "Middlemarch".
Middlemarch
I’ve mentioned the Esteemed Bully anthology before, which you can now find on Indiebound and anywhere books can be pre-ordered. I’m also scribble literary works a story for this e-anthology of a bunch of authors who debuted in 2009. The tract is “firsts.” I haven’t written mine yet, but I do have something in cognizant and it’s really sentimental and/or horrifying and/or witty.
I’ll also be presenting at this upcoming seminar on Children’s Literature sponsored by the Loft Literary Center. Did I praise that the keynote is Arthur Levine? Even if I didn’t, the concluded roster of presenters is impressive and so is the discussion; this is my third year attending and I always have fun and learn a lot. Wait to see you there!
Finally, time is running out to set the prize giveaway on my off-topic blog. The aim package includes an advance twin of Tanglewood Terror, a copy of Hawthorne’s name-inspiring Tanglewood Tales, and in all probability a few surprises. Best of all, it’ll have a BYRONGRAM. It’ll hype this little leprechaun, but probably in a more changeless get-up.
